In20xx Notes is for people who write a lot of notes. Organize notes with limitless notebooks, note nesting, and titled note blocks within notes. Everything you need is a click away and yet buttons and ribbons never appear over your writing. Persistent scratchpad, side-by-side notes, color icons, and one-click copy are some of the features that help your note taking flow.
Notebook name at the top left. Drag and drop to rearrange notes on the tree. Expand or collapse nested notes with a single click. Open multiple tabbed notes. Options stay out of sight until you need them.
Switch between notebooks using the left menu. A table of contents for the active note displays on the right. Drag and drop within the table to reorder note sections. Headings and titled note blocks automatically generate the table.
A panel that doesn't close. Jot the half-thought, the phone number, the sentence you'll use later. Mark folders with a color and an icon if that helps you find them — or don't, and let the names do the work.
Keep a draft open while another note stays active beside it. Pull from source material, compare phrasing, or keep a publishing checklist visible without splitting the app into separate windows.
Type a slash to bring up common blocks: regular text, titled notes, lists, tables, code, headings, and dividers. The editor stays plain until you ask it to become structured.
When a block is active, the controls move to the edge of the workspace. Formatting, alignment, lists, and block type changes stay available without crowding the page.
"I wanted somewhere to put words without the software performing the act of putting words somewhere. In20xx Notes is the closest I've come."
